Joe Battista, Chief Operating Officer of Valencia Enterprises has been with the organization since January 2004.  Originally hired as the Chief Operating Officer for Valencia Enterprises, Inside Learning, ScenariosOnline, and the Center for Global Languages, Joe has worked closely with the staff from these affiliate brands to develop a new business plan, a customer and client driven mission and targeted efforts to build relationships with businesses in the community.  His accomplishments to date have led to the hiring of an entire Sales & Marketing team, the implementation of structural enhancements to improve productivity and targeted, focused objectives for the organization as a whole.

Mr. Battista’s background is essential to the implementation of Valencia Community College’s entrepreneurial venture and investment in corporate and continuing education.  He holds over 15 years experience as a Chief Financial Officer and 8 years as Chief Operating Officer where he managed a variety of companies’ day to day activities.  His most recent positions over the last ten years include Senior Vice President of Client Services and Chief Financial Officer of Collegis in Orlando, Florida.  Not only did these roles prepare him for the venture but they also provided him invaluable experience in building organizations.  Through his guidance, Valencia Enterprises’ success will benefit the growth of corporate and continuing education in the community as well as Valencia Community College and its students.
